Learning to drive in a controlled environment with INFINITY Driving School enables students to both have fun and gain valuable experience in vehicle handling and coordination skills.
It has been proven to help with confidence when starting to drive on public roads.
From our experience the younger a person starts to drive, the easier and quicker they learn to coordinate and master the control of the car.
We have found that pupils that take our under 17 driving courses can shorten the time it takes to learn to drive on the road when they become 17.
European Road Safety research has also found that it is not the age that is important for young driver road safety but more so the number of hours that young drivers have over an extended period of time before sitting their driving test.
We believe that the younger a person starts to drive and when the driving is spread gradually over a few years the young driver becomes more confident in the control of the car and is more aware of the cars limitations and their own.
Pupils that take our under 17 driving courses will gain valuable experience in vehicle handling skills and will be taught to the same high standards as our on-

Safety: INFINITY Driving School believe that having learnt the basic skills on under 17 driving lessons, (even off road) young people have a better understanding of vehicle capabilities which improves their awareness of road safety.
We are all road users whether we are drivers, cyclists or pedestrians and if our road awareness is raised then we are less likely to cause or be involved in accidents on the road.
Efficiency: Because all of the control skills are learnt in an off road environment during under age driving lessons with virtually no other traffic to negotiate the learner picks up these essential skills very quickly.
While doing this course pupils will also learn basic road skills and therefore when it comes to taking on road driving lessons they can save many more hours tuition.
Effectiveness: At this age people are more receptive to learning new skills as well as not having bad road habits already embedded.
Off road under age driving lessons are an ideal start towards safe driving.
Cost: The DVSA estimate the average cost for learners to pass the driving test today to be £1,500.
The number of hours of driving lessons needed can be vastly reduced if the learner already has basic vehicle and road skills from the under 17 driving lessons therefore reducing the overall cost of getting a driving licence by a substantial amount.
We are able to offer an amazing young driving experience for you or any young people you work with.
Tailored packages that include: stand alone practical driving course sessions in your car parks or at our venues, practical driving course sessions to supplement your own or other agency classroom presentations or a full bespoke package.
All our instructors have had enhanced Disclosure Checks completed with the correct on road and off road insurance and are experienced in providing quality on road lessons and off road lessons for younger drivers from the age 10 with up to 3 pupils sharing the car when it is part of a school or youth group activity.
A large part of this learning is promoting positive beliefs & attitudes to driving, developing a sound understanding of the vehicle and driver’s limitations and instilling responsibility and maturity behind the wheel of the car while retaining a fun and enjoyable learning environment! We have been working with several local authorities conducting pre 17 youth driving sessions for; Secondary Schools, Youth Groups and Youth Services.
